Author Tom O’Malley will visit Dog Ears Bookstore & Café from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, for a book-signing event. The nonprofit community bookstore is located at 688 Abbott Road in Buffalo.
A lifelong resident of South Buffalo, O’Malley has enjoyed a rich and rewarding 40-year teaching career at St. Francis High School and Canisius College. His numerous essays, articles, stories and journal entries have appeared in The Buffalo News, The Christian Science Monitor, The Concord Journal and in several educational publications over the years.
In a blend of history, fantasy, mystery and poetry, O’Malley’s A Timeless Summer recounts the adventures of two curious boys in their home town of Concord, Mass.
